Where Is Cladding Used
Metal, plastic, wood and concrete cladding is widely used to throughout the built environment. The cladding is attached to the primary structure of a building to help protect the building structure and create a controlled environment by providing noise or thermal insulation.
Unfortunately these clad surfaces often becomes discoloured over time as a result of biological and/or environmental pollutants. This can both seriously impact the visual aappeal of the clad exterior, and potentially damage the building substrate.
Cleaning Cladding - The Method
With a range of cleaning systems at our disposal, we can clean clad surfaces safely, effectively and efficiently. We achieve outstanding cleaning results on metal, plastic, wood and concrete cladding, without needing to use harsh chemicals that might damage the surface.
With biological pollutants such as algae and moss it is very important to kill off spores which are extremely resilient. Using pressurised steam allows us to ramp up the heat to ensure the spores are eradicated - and we can also apply a fungicide to help inhibit regrowth.
