Where Is Aggregate Used
Many exterior surfaces are constructed using an aggregate composite - coarse particulate such as crushed stone or granite mixed with a polymer or epoxy resin.
Like any other exterior surface these need regular cleaning and maintenance to extend their lifespan and ensure that they look their best. This may can be of critical importance for some businesses and organisations - especially hotels, leisure centres and some commercial businesses.
Cleaning Aggregate - The Method
Our high pressure, hot water cleaning system is ideal for cleaning aggregate composite surfaces. On full strength we can literally remove road markings in one swipe, so as you can imagine we are able to remove the toughest of dirt. We can also turn the pressure right down, so that if there are vulnerable areas that need a lighter touch we can clean these too.
Steam cleaning can also be used to successfully remove weeds, moss and other organic pollutants and the heat kills off spores helping prevent regrowth. Although many of the newer resin bound materials are resistant to oil and grease - if these have permeated the surface we can apply a specially created poultice to help draw out the stain.
