Where Is Plastic Used
Plastic is widely used in the built environment for example for canopies, shelters, signage, fascia boards and cladding on a building. These often smooth surfaces are not immune to biological and environmental pollution.
For many premises it is important to keep these surfaces looking clean and well maintained; a canopy outside a hotel or restaurant covered in fungal mould not only looks unsightly but also gives a very poor impression to visitors and guests.
Cleaning Plastic - The Method
Spores from algae and moss are carried by air and can land on any surface. If there is moisture or humidity these will start to grow. It can be very hard to prevent this from happening, but regular, thorough cleaning will remove the biofilm and help prevent new spores from growing back.
Our unique cleaning system offers the fastest and most effective way of cleaning these surfaces without damaging the plastic. The heat of the steam helps eradicate spores and prevent regrowth. We can also apply a fungicidal wash that helps inhibit future attacks.
