Spring has sprung - time to get cleaning - and that includes the outside of buildings as well as the inside. Patios, pathways, entrances, terraces and decking - all will benefit hugely from a good clean to remove all the dirt and grime that has been accumulating over the winter months.

Spring cleaning is a smart move
We recently carried out some spring cleaning for Bristol University – this included jet washing path ways, patios, wooden decking and furniture, and cleaning 20 massive waste bins both inside and out! The University has high standards and regular jet washing helps ensure that their premises look their best at all times which helps give the right impression. On a more serious note, cleaning slippery moss and algae off pathways after winter makes good ‘health and safety’ sense as it helps prevent people slipping over and hurting themselves.
Making an entrance
We have also just completed cleaning the entrance to the VUE cinema in Worcester. We were commissioned by property agent Claphams, who had recently taken over managing the property.
The Claphams team know from experience the value that regular exterior cleaning can deliver, and one of the first things they wanted to do was clean up the entrance of the building. Our work included jet washing the arched glass canopy and the covered paved entrance area - both of which were looking rather the worse for wear. With steam cleaning on our side we had everything looking fresh and gleamingly clean in no time at all.
Our secret weapon
Steam cleaning is our secret weapon. This unique, pressurised hot water cleaning system combines steam and heat at variable pressure making it ideal for cleaning both hard surfaces, such as block paving and concrete slabs, and more vulnerable substrates such as wood (decking or furniture) or even glass.
Steam cleaning makes light work of removing organic growth like moss and algae as well as environmental mess such as greasy food stains and chewing gum. It also allows us to achieve exceptionally high standards of cleaning without the use of harmful chemicals, which is far better for the environment.
