Keeping Bristol’s city centre in mint condition
Category: Bristol cleaning
Bristol has a dirty secret. Early morning joggers passing through city centre will probably have seen the unsightly state of some of the streets and terraces, especially after the revelries of Friday and Saturday nights. Bristol’s night life is largely to blame, and while no one wants to stop the fun - we are proud of our vibrant city and the night-time economy is important - it cannot be denied that all this partying is leaving a nasty stain on our streets.
Grease from food and chewing gum cause unsightly stains
Even after roads have been swept by the council, grease from food and other spillages remain, causing unsightly stains on the paved areas, especially around bars and restaurants. In addition, in designated smoking areas - sometimes located by the entrance to an establishment - smokers discard their chewing gum onto the ground before ‘lighting up’, where it remains creating an unpleasant sticky mess that is notoriously difficult to remove.
Bar and restaurant owners who want to appeal to, and encourage repeat visits from, a discerning clientele will know the importance of maintaining good appearances. This is where we can help. Our unique pressurised steam cleaning system means we are able to remove stubborn stains and chewing gum from paved areas and terraces. Steam cleaning allows us to achieve unbeatable results every time and leave things looking really good as new.
See the difference!
The Jet Washing Company has been working with a number of hoteliers and landlords in Bristol to ensure that their premises are kept clean and fresh on the outside (as well as in), these include; The Bristol Hotel (formerly Jury’s) on Prince Street, Za Za Bazaar on the water front and the Jamaican bar and restaurant Turtle Bay which is located on the city centre. Visitors to any of these establishments will be able to clearly see the difference that our work makes to the appearance external areas of these buildings including walls, paved areas and terraces.
Minimising inconvenience
We work extremely flexible hours – by which we mean we can be on site and cleaning up as early as 4.00 in the morning. Because our system is vehicle mounted and fully self-contained, we can set up and start work immediately, and that extra early start means we can get the job done before the city wakes up, causing minimum interruption to business or inconvenience to early morning passers-by.
