Whats in a name? The story behind the OneFifty rebrand
Category: OneFifty
On the 8th May this year we changed our name to OneFifty and launched our new brand. The launch has gone smoothly and we have received lots of positive feedback and we have received lots of positive feedback, but some people have asked why OneFifty? The answer is because its our magic number.
OneFifty because it is our magic number because 150°C is the temperature at which we clean using our high-pressure steam system. At this temperature we have the perfect mix of 90% steam and 10% water, as the steam is released from the spray nozzle it rapidly expands and the force of the expansiont produces the gentle, but highly effective, cleaning. This is what allows us to achieve such outstanding results for our customers.
Looking ahead to a brilliant future
The aim of renaming and rebranding was to allow the company to appeal to larger organisations and just three weeks after the launch we have already signed up a large new contract. We have so many great ideas for developing the business, and are really excited about the future. Our new name will play a part in helping us continue to develop the business.
Different name - same brilliant exterior surface cleaning
We originally set up the company to provide a superior service, the highest possible standards of cleaning, and competitive rates. You can rest assured that we will stay true to these values and do all that we can to meet our clients exterior surface cleaning needs.
We look forward to continuing to work with our many loyal clients, and some new ones, in the coming years as OneFifty. Below are a few of the comments that we have recieved about our new name and brand - we'd love to hear what you think too, email your comments to Max@OneFifty.com
"The name OneFifty makes complete sense once you understand that 150 degrees is the temperature that allows their pressurised steam cleaning system to work its magic. I love the new brand it looks great, and I wish OneFifty lots of luck with their future plans for the business.”

"Congratulations! Love the new name. Was intrigued as to why that name - but makes perfect sense and sounds very cosmopolitan. Wish you well and success, you have earned it over a very short period of time and well deserved."

“I was working with Max when he was in the process of planning the renaming of the business and I could see how their previous name might have pigeon-holed them, suggesting that they were focussed on smaller projects. I think the new logo looks really neat and smart, while the new more generic name ‘OneFifty’ will give them scope to broaden their offering and appeal to a wider audience.”
