Council increases fines in a bid to reduce graffiti attacks

Fines for unlawful graffiti and fly-posting in Bristol have more than tripled in a bid to crack down on anti-social behaviour. Approved by Bristol city council’s cabinet, the change came into effect on the 17th of April and sees fines increase from £150 to £500, the maximum allowed by a law passed in 2023.
