Before retiring I spent over 40 years in the purchasing profession so I know a thing or two about getting value for money.
Three years ago I became a Board member on the RTM for The Grove, a prestigious estate in Stonehouse that comprises 18 flats and 4 townhouses. I live in one of the flats.
The building was in need of some major refurbishments so the RTM planned for these, including work required to the exterior walls.
We approached a number of subcontractors to quote and they were invited to carry out test cleans on the walls. One could not remove the algae and one damaged a flat's ceiling by encroaching through vents. Of the two successful trials The Jetwashing Company was the most competitive and professional.
They used a combination of steam clean, biocide wash (to their own secret formula), then steam clean again. They were given the contract and did a superb job.
The access equipment arrived spot on time as did their operatives. They were very professional and extremely helpful with virtually no disruption to residents. The finish is amazing. We will certainly use them again in the future.
