Fast graffiti removal for Environment Agency
In December 2018 a group of climate change protesters carried out a protest in Bristol which included a graffiti attack on Horizon House, the regional HQ for the Environment Agency.
Slogans and the distinctive X-shaped symbol of the Extinction Rebellion protest group had been spray painted all over the building including the glass frontage (doors and windows) and the stone work.
Rapid response
We received a call for help from the managing agents at around 2:00pm on a Saturday afternoon and they were very keen to get the graffiti removed as quickly as possible.
On this occasion we were able to offer a super-fast response. We had a vehicle and team of operators on the scene by 3:00pm that afternoon and had completed the clean up by 5:00pm. Our system is vehicle-mounted, fully self-contained and delivers the most efficient and effective exterior cleaning on the market in the UK.
With everything we needed to hand, our operators were able to remove the graffiti and leave the building facade looking completely clean - as if nothing had ever happened. Our client was delighted both by the speed of our response and the quality of our cleaning.
Rapid removal helps avoid proliferation
Unwanted graffiti is a massive blight - especially an attack as significant as this. For the Environment Agency it made absolute sense to get it cleaned off as quickly as possible. But even with smaller attacks - such as a single tag on a building - it makes sense to get it cleaned up as soon as possible, otherwise you are likely to attract copycat attacks.
On numerous occasions we have quoted to remove a tag from a building and by the time we have been given the go ahead and arrived at the scene to clean it off - there are more tags.
