Main job role

Field-based, the core function of the role is to undertake external cleaning services. Works are regularly undertaken at height and applicants must be willing to travel and stay away for short periods of time. The type of work you will be undertaking includes, but is not limited to;

• Facade cleaning
• Chewing gum removal
• Graffiti removal
• Flat surface cleaning

In addition this role would require;

• Management of a small team on site
• Dealing directly with clients
• Identify and plan how to complete larger scale jobs
• React, adapt and overcome issues on site
• An in-depth knowledge of various cleaning processes
• An in-depth knowledge of equipment maintenance

The cleaning is undertaken using an industrial truck mounted high-pressure steam cleaner. It would be advantageous to hold any of the following qualifications, but we are also happy to train the right people.

• CSCS Card
• PASMA
• IPAF (3a,3b,1b)
• First Aid
• Water Jetting Association - Safety Awareness
• B+E Drivers Licence

It would be advantageous to have experience in the following

• Working at height
• Window cleaning
• Jet washing
• DOFF & TORC cleaning
• Media blasting
• Team leader/supervisor

Financial benefits

Our operatives earn in excess of £30K per annum, the hourly rate to be discussed dependent upon previous experience. Overtime is readily available and paid above basic hourly rate. We also offer night working payment,an overnight stay allowance and an IPAF allowance.

Experience:

• Outdoor working: 1 year (preferred)
• Language:
• English (preferred)
• Licence/Certification
• Driving license (preferred)
