How We Work
Our aim is to raise-the-bar in the cleaning industry and deliver the very highest levels of customer service.
We follow tried, tested and proven processes which guarantee the best possible cleaning outcome. Whatever the surface material and whichever the contaminant, we know how to achieve superior cleaning results whilst at the same time mitigating risk of damage.
We will discuss a project in full to make sure we thoroughly understand your requirements prior to undertaking the work.
Understanding exactly what you are looking to achieve, and having some idea of your planned budget, allows us to recommend the most appropriate and cost efficient approach and deliver the best possible outcome.
We will also check any special requirements such as access or any preference about when you might prefer cleaning to be carried out.
Once we know what is required we will provide you with a written estimate for the cleaning work.
This will take into account any additional elements such as hire of access equipment or specialist cleaning products that might be needed.
If our estimate is acceptable, we will arrange for a site visit to thoroughly assess the site and the areas to be cleaned prior to undertaking the work.
We can run a test clean on a discreet area of the surface to demonstrate our process and identify any vulnerable, damaged or worn areas which might need specific treatment. In this way we ensure that our treatment meets the most stringent of conservation guidelines and delivers the best possible outcome.
OneFifty is fully committed to operating safely and we take our health & safety obligations very seriously. The cornerstone of this is to ensure that our employees are well trained and hold relevant qualifications.
Our employees are IPAF qualified and experienced in working at height on a range of equipment, from small booms to 43m spiders, as well as operating our own 25m truck-mounted cherry picker (relevant IPAF licences we hold are 1a, 3a, 3b). And we always have a rescue plan in case we need to undertake rescue.
Our staff also hold CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) cards relevant for when we work on building sites as well as PASMA qualifications for when we use small scaffolding towers.
Our abseiling work is always planned and supervised by someone holding an IRATA Level 3 qualification.
It is also essential that we operate safely around the public. We use a portable barrier system that enables us to professionally cordon off areas keeping both our operatives and the public safe.
When using chemicals we ensure that our staff are wearing appropriate PPE such as goggles, respirators and protective clothing.
Finally, we are correctly insured for the work we carry out, providing additional peace of mind for our clients.
We work very flexible hours and often cleaning work is done out of normal working hours. This helps avoid interruption to business and minimises inconvenience to customers or passers by. Because we have cleaning systems that are vehicle mounted and fully self-contained we do not require access to power or water which means we can turn up, switch on and start work immediately any time day or night.
