Cleaning The Parts Other Jet Washing Companies Cannot Reach

Just like a certain famous Dutch beer, The Jet Washing Company really can reach, and clean, places that other companies can’t, or don’t want, to clean. It’s not that we go looking for these awkward, hard to get to, often downright difficult projects – they just seem to find us. And to be honest we rather like the challenge so we’re not complaining.

We use a variety of special access equipment, known as mobile elevated work platforms or MEWPS, to gain safe access and clean difficult to reach places; cherry pickers, spiders, movable booms, vehicle mounted booms, mansafe systems or even abseiling – it’s all in a day’s work for our intrepid team. The harder to reach, the more determined we are to gain access and remove that unwanted blot on the city-scape, leaving everything clean and good-as-new again.
As fully accredited members of IPAF (The International Powered Access Federation) our customers can be assured that we understand about the safe and effective use of powered access equipment. Moreover we arrange everything; from renting equipment, communicating with stakeholders, insurance, and of course the actual cleaning which is always carried out to the very highest standards.
High-rise graffiti deleted for The Galleries
We removed an offensive piece of ‘high rise’ Graffiti on behalf of The Galleries Shopping Centre in Bristol. It was in a highly visible position near the entrance to the Galleries, located high up on the external wall of the building on Union Street. We used a high-reach truck mounted boom to safely access and remove the tag.
Our steam cleaning system is vehicle mounted and fully self-contained, so we can set-up and start work without requiring access to mains services. We were able to start this job at 5.00 am and have everything completed before 8.00 am, causing minimum disruption for retail businesses in the centre. The management team was so pleased with the work that they have commissioned us to clean the entire high building façade on Newgate next. We’ll share images once the job has been completed.
Tiptoeing through the tulips (and other flower borders) at Aldermans Park
Aldermans Park is an attractive private residential development. The building, which is 5 stories high, is surrounded by green lawns with numerous ornamental shrubs, flower borders and neat footpaths. We needed to be extremely careful when accessing the building to carry out any cleaning work. The answer was to use a spider boom, which is both flexible and extremely light weight. This allowed us to set-up and work in some very tight spaces without damaging the lawns, pathways or plants surrounding the building.
